On November 11, 2026, the Heidelberg Center for Gene and Cell Therapy (HGCT) will hold its 3rd Annual Meeting at EMBL Heidelberg. The program will explore current developments and future perspectives in gene and cell therapy, with scientific talks and a poster session.
A special highlight will be the keynote lecture by David A. Williams, MD, an internationally renowned hematologist and pioneer in gene therapy. In his talk, “Human Gene Therapy, Early Phase Development to FDA Approval: Processes and Infrastructure,” he will discuss the path from early-stage development to clinical application and FDA approval.
